Answered. I've just come off for the night after 1-2 hours of trying to get some walker brains, as ive been struggling to get one for a conflict scanner for the expedition. The way ive been trying is by pissing off the sentinels and killing them till a walker spawns, and trying to kill that, but I died several times. The personal forcefield will make short work of the walker’s otherwise potent weaponry. As with all things plasma launcher-related, it IS inevitable that you will hit yourself with a ricocheted grenade and die.
